"Sternchen" means "little Star", and she really lives up to this name. She was born in Germany´s Top Greyhound kennel "Happy Hunter's" of the Knauber family and was named thus by our "junior breeders" Maya & Finn Knauber.

Sternchen started her show career with 15 months by winning her first Championship award. Now she is just 2 years old and has so far added several CACs, CACIBs and Best of Breed awards to her record. Winning Best in Show at the prestigious German Sighthound Club Show in Cologne under Club president Mrs Wilfriede Schwerm-Hahne was her greatest archivement so far.

Until now, Sternchen has achieved several group placements as well as international titles:
FCI Euro Sighthound 2010, German Sighthound Club Winner 2010 (Best in Show),
German National Winner 2010 (in connection with the Crufts qualification).

We are proud that Sternchen finished her first show season as Top Greyhound 2010 in Germany.

Being a true Greyhound, Sternchen likes the chase even more than the show -
and winning the first International Lure Coursing competition she was entered in proofs that very well!

But above all Sternchen is a wonderful companion and everyone's sweetheart.
She is keen on learning new situations, loves playing with her best friend "Nigel" and is Intelligent, gentle,
affectionate and even-tempered - just like a Greyhound should be!
